We are pleased to announce that our DenMux product has been sold to a large international Integrated Circuit manufacturer, now working in DAB, and based in the United States. Unfortunately, we are not able to disclose the identity of our new customer at this time.

Vericast take pleasure in annoucing that the UK's largest DAB chip manufacturer, Frontier Silicon, has now placed an order for the DAB radio test engineering product, DenMux. The order includes additional development work concerned with the provision of Traffic Message Channel encoding.

After almost a year in development, the first release of the re-engineered DenMux, version 1.3, was launched today.

DenMux 1.3 adds support for several new service types, including DAB+ Audio programmes, TPEG services, and DMB video.

Averna Technologies of Canada has signed up to an annual licensing agreement to bundle DenMux with their highly-regarded Universal Receiver Tester (URT) product.

Vericast demonstrated live DAB broadcasting today, using DenMux output over a standard G.703/G.704 telecommunications card, driving a UBS DAB Modulator, kindly loaned by NyeTech.

For a few hours, a low-power DAB transmission was demonstrated within their main office building and was received by a number of commercially available DAB receivers.
