DAB+ support released in DenMux 1.3

After almost a year in development, the first release of the re-engineered DenMux, version 1.3, was launched today.

DenMux 1.3 adds support for several new service types, including DAB+ Audio programmes, TPEG services, and DMB video.

Vericast demonstrate live DAB broadcasting capability

21st December, 2008

Vericast demonstrated live DAB broadcasting today, using DenMux output over a standard G.703/G.704 telecommunications card, driving a UBS DAB Modulator, kindly loaned by NyeTech.

For a few hours, a low-power DAB transmission was demonstrated within their main office building and was received by a number of commercially available DAB receivers.

Our ETI Monitor product has been analysing and validating the integrity of live digital radio ensembles and services, across Europe and Asia, since its first deployment in early 2004. It supports a wide range of service types across the DAB, DAB+ and DMB family of digital radio standards.

Our latest product is DenMux, a software-based encoder-multiplexer, especially suited for the test engineering market. We are also developing this product for use in live broadcasting.
