1st October, 2008Vericast has now officially released DenMux, a software package designed to meet the needs of the DAB, DAB+ and DMB radio test engineering industry.“DenMux meets with the highest industry standards and fullfils the specific needs of radio manufacturers and test departments. I am very pleased to announce the launch of this new product, as it marks an important step in Vericast's history,” concludes Duncan Mackay, Managing Director of Vericast Limited. Vericast's DenMux application is a flexible encoder/multiplexer suite for the Windows PC Platform that provides a software-based solution to the generation of DAB-compliiant data streams. It supports DAB audio, DAB+ audio, DMB video and several DAB packet service encodings. A "Live" version of DenMux is also available, providing ETI via physical G.703/G.704 output to use with off-the-shelf DAB modulation equipment, rather than as a file for subsequent modulation by radio test technology partners. Vericast expect to announce their first technology partner at the end of 2008. |
